Mosaic Workshops n New Artist of the Month

Jane Rose has a Mosaic workshop Sat 24th March at Auldgirth Village hall from 10am til 3pm   £25 inclusive of all materials & equipment. Bookings taken - 01461 205187

OK so Artist of the month is kinda late, apologies..........Chris Hoddinott..........until I get time to make a page for all his wonderful creations here is a wee preview

 

Chris is not only a committed collaborator keeping shop hours for the benefit of us all, he is also a fantastic artist.

Chris has a Degree Course from the City Guild of London Arts School, and Post graduate studies at the Glasgow School of Arts. He is a sculptor and trained as an etcher.

He has taught workshops and sculpture for many years at GABLS. This came to a sudden halt due to a brain injury.

Today Chris is part of the Management Committee at Headway Charity and has gotten back into drawing.

As he says “I enjoy making things”. So he does. You can admire his wire sculptures, jewellery and other pieces of work at the Creative Collaborators shop.
