CC Shop

2 new collaborators Kirsti Lord and her amazing handmade beaded jewellery and Cathy Biggar another wonderful local artist. News is coming in that more folks will be joining us in the coming week.
We now have premises in Moniaive and are opening the CC Gallery and Craft Shop on Saturday 17th Sept. We will always be open Saturday and Sunday 11.30 - 4.30, week days are yet to be decided a lot depends on helpers but we will keep everyone updated. There will be an official launch in the October holidays.

Creative Collaborators Shop

1. According to the inclusive philosophy of Creative Collaborators different autonomous projects may arise. These projects are a part of Creative Collaborators in the sense that they may be of help to other members and to the whole of the project, yet, they are independent in their growth and management.

2. The Creative Collaborators shop in Moniaive is such a project: One within Creative Collaborators to strengthen CC and help its members and other artists, yet it is an autonomous independent project that is managed on it´s own by the people involved in it. Therefore:
   a) it will have no funding from CC as a whole.

b) it will be managed, run, operated by the people that created the project and are involved in it. It is their sole responsibility, as will be all other autonomous projects, not making other CC members responsible for whatever is decided.

c) The people involved in the autonomous projects have the right to set the rules and policies on which they will run their projects for they answer only to themselves and third parties and not to members or third parties involved in the autonomous projects.

Creative Collaborators Shop Policies

-The shop is open to CC members and other artists.

The admittance of art work or other items to be exhibited in the shop is under the discretion of the management team that developed the autonomous project: The CC Shop is in Moniaive. The same holds true for any other kind of promotion, notices, advertisement or any other issues involving the CC shop in Moniaive.

1) Display of arts and craft, items or any other object:

The display of work or any other object is solely under the consideration and criteria of the Moniaive CC Shop management team. This applies to all aspects of the exhibiting of work, art pieces, or any other object, notice or promotions.

2) Every artist or exhibitor must fill out the entry form for the work to be displayed in the Moniaive CC shop. Also when any art piece leaves the shop because it has been sold, the artist wants it back, or the shop management team decides to remove it from the shop the release form must be filled out before the art piece or object is removed from the shop. Entry form here you can print off and fill out before bringing in any items

3) The CC Moniaive shop will not store any arts or crafts or object, they need to be removed according to the time schedule determined by the shop management team or when so instructed.

Any object remaining in the shop beyond the set time for removal may cause a fee to be paid by the artist or owner. The fee will be 20% of the sale price for the first week. If the art piece or item is not picked up within a fortnight notice the art or item will be auctioned by the shop management team at the starting price they decide is convenient. The profit of such sale will have the same commission and payment terms as any other sale.

4)The Management team for the Moniaive CC shop is not responsible for any loss or damage by any cause. There is no insurance and no sale guarantee. All objects, art pieces, or items are left in the shop at the artist or proprietors responsibility releasing all CC members, the CC Moniaive shop Management team or any other third party from any responsibility for the art pieces, objects, or items that are left at the CC shop premises in Moniaive.

5) Sale Prices and Commissions.
The sale price of any object will be set by the artist or owner. The CC Shop in Moniaive will charge a commission of: 15 % for CC members and 25% for all others. The fee or sales commission will be deducted from the sales payment.

Sales will be cash or cheque. Cheques will be made payable to the artist unless multiple items from various artists are sold whereby cheque will be made payable to H. Watson and then paid in cash to the various artists.

6) The CC Shop in Moniaive will not be responsible nor does it offer any special packaging or delivery service for the artists, item owners, or customers.
