Late Night Openings Review

Today is Sunday, a good time to make a balance of how the Late Night Openings went. As you know, the shop had three days (from last Thursday to last Saturday), in which it open at 12:00 and closed at 7:00pm. From 5:00pm to 7:00 mulled wine and nibbles were available to those that visited.

Thursday and Saturday nights were the most lively, we had four or five customers walking into the shop. Friday nobody came in from 5 to 7 pm.
This data is important as to evaluated if more Late Night Openings should be scheduled. The results do not correspond to the efforts made by some Creative Collaborators members!

We want to give a special thanks to Jane Rose and to Chris for their support and effort on those Late Opening Nights and usual opening hours. Their work and effort benefited everyone of us.

On the other hand, it is obvious that we did not do a very good job promoting the shop's Late Night Openings. If we do not promote our work then it is not surprising that the results are what they are. We receive what we put in!
Some members just cruise through, others do not even answer e-mails to say: “Sorry, can't do what is asked to be done” or to say: “e-mail received” .

As has been said Creative Collaborators will go to wherever we take it and make of it. It is beginning to be obvious that some are benefiting from the effort and enthusiasm of others while doing nothing or very little at best. This is unfair and is an issue that will be given consideration in the near future.

We need to understand and work as a collective and not as individuals. An idea that some have caught on while others are still unaware of what Creative Collaborators is about.
Let's not forget that Creative Collaborators is much more than a Gallery/Shop.
